Login and Registration Issues |
I can not login!
You must be a Registered User in order to log in. Registered User can be a Private User, Country Administrator
or Website Administrator. But only those from the GMS-member countries and some sponsors for this TA project
can apply for a User Account. (See application instructions in the Login page.)

Why do I need to register at all?
Registration is needed to fully utilize the website database and access the Power System Information database
and Opinion Forum

I have lost my password!
You can retrieve your password. To do this go to the login page and click the link that says
Forgot Password. Submit your email address and wait for the email that contains your password.

I registered but cannot log in!
Make sure that you are entering the correct username and password. If you can not still login in, send a
request to your Country Administrator. To do this, go to the Contact Us. |

How do I update my personal information?
Registered User can always update his/her personal information. This is necessary in case Administrator wants to contact
the Registered User. To update the personal information, go to theProfile Settings.

How do I change my password?
Password given to Private User is temporarily only and should be replaced during his/her first login to protect his/her account.
To change the password, go to the Profile Settings and click the link that says Change Password at the bottom of the page.

I can not download the file!
If you are a Guest User, you can download public data only from any countries. However, if you are a Private User or
Country Administrator, you can download any file from your country and public data from other countries. If you really need to
download a file from a different country, submit a request to the Administrator of that country. To do that, go to the Contact Us, complete the request form and submit it
to the right country. Make sure to choose Other Comments and Requests in the category

How can I view the private data of other countries?
You can view the public data of any countries if you are a Guest User. If you are a Private User or Country Administrator,
you can view all data from your country and public data of other countries. To view the private data of other countries,
send a request to the Administrator of the country you want to view through the Contact Us link. Make sure to choose Membership Modification Request in the category. |

Opinion Forum |
How can I access the Forum?
This forum is intended for Registered Users only. To access it, click the link in the Navigation Menu that saysOpinion Forum.

I can not log in?
Since Opinion Forum is in a different platform, you need to register again in order to log in.
(Important: Registered Users in the website database are the only eligible to register the Opinion Forum including Private Users and Country Administrators.)

(i.e. Private Users, Country Administrators) should register and get an account to start using the Forum.
